Vinyasa Flow - Advanced

To achieve what I call ‘Top Advanced Vinyasa’ level is not easy. It requires commitment to daily practice and meditation for minimum of few years.

I
n this video Yoga Instructor
Dylan Werner shows 5 minutes of intensive Yoga Vinyasa Flow practice done in beautiful and artful way.
Dylan Werner had wrestling/fitness/rock climbing/martial art background when he was first introduced to Yoga and after 10 years of advanced training he started teaching. It takes strong body and even ‘stronger’ mind to achieve that level of control. He is 100% focused, his breath is in sync with every move so his Vinyasa flow looks easy although it is far from that.

Everyone with dedication and discipline can reach that level.

My tips:
1. Practice yoga daily and if you cannot come to yoga studio every day, try to go at least once a week. Other days, practice at home, minimum 15 minutes.

2. Start with 5 minutes meditation daily and increase time slowly to 30 minutes. Meditation will teach you how to focus and clear your mind.

3. Start slowly, do Hatha yoga, Vinyasa Beginner and Intermediate level and gradually build up to Vinyasa Advanced level.

4. Don’t be afraid to modify any posture to accommodate injuries or your present level of strength and flexibility!

5. Last tip – ask your Teacher! Ask for help, advice, stay longer after the class and explain what your goal is, what your concerns are, and – what makes you happy! Every teacher will be more than happy to guide you.

My Yoga Journey is not very long but the length of time is irrelevant when something is Right.
