I chose a beautiful house, nested in the jungle (also gated development) just 2.5km (1.5 mile) outside the Samara village/beach.

The house has lofted ceilings with windows and fans for ventilation as well as air conditioning in the bedrooms.
There is a beautiful pool, outdoor shower, rancho and - nice, large space for Yoga practice, surrounded by fruit trees. Monkeys, hundreds of species of birds , trees, beautiful flowers - plus peace and privacy for meditation – is just a bonus!
All for below $2000.00 ea ( Canadian dollars, travel included!!!).
